Welcome to My Personal Page
Thanks for visiting my Personal Page!
For a person living with Parkinson’s, each day can be a struggle to perform common tasks that most of us take for granted. Medication can help symptoms, but there’s no cure for this progressive neurodegenerative disease. By 2031, the number of people living with Parkinson’s is expected to double.
My wife, Kathy has been living with this disease for many years so this walk is very important to me. This year’s walk is different as we’ll be doing it on our own and very close to home. Actually, I think this year should be even more special as Kathy will be working on building her strength and endurance to walk the block with me. That will be a special day! We are hoping you will support us.
With your support, together, we can ensure that there is a place for people living with Parkinson’s to turn to – a place like Home. Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario provides much needed programs services, advocacy and research initiatives to build and spread awareness, care and support for Parkinson’s. They are Home for everyone living with Parkinson’s Disease in Southwestern Ontario.
Please support me as I WALK THE BLOCK for Parkinson’s this September. Your donation will stay local and help make a difference to more than 10,000 people living with Parkinson’s right here at Home.
